North Suite, named after the direction it faces, offers about 475 square feet of comfortable living
space on the Vancouver Traveller's Bed and Breakfast ground level. Two small steps lead to the
suite's private entrance below the main floor of the B&B. This location has kept the suite's ceiling
height to slightly less than 7 feet.
In addition to being a bed and breakfast suite, the North Suite also provides ideal lodging as a
vacation rental for those who want to avoid stairs and do not plan to eat full breakfasts (peak
season only) in the dining room above. It has also been a favorite with visitors who prefer a larger
area than a bedroom provides and want the opportunity to prepare simple meals.
Kitchen appliances include a full-size refrigerator and stove; a dishwasher; and a microwave.
Pots, pans, dishes and flatware are also provided.
The bedroom features a queen-size bed, reading lights and computer workspace. The ensuite
bathroom, which has a spacious walk-in shower and a heated tile floor, can be accessed from both
the bedroom and the living area.
Other amenities: wireless Internet; cable connection in bedroom and living area; outside seating
areas.
This suite is on the ground level of a renovated older home. We have sound proofed the ceiling
and the walls however, the suite is still not suitable who are sensitive to noise and/or plan on
taking naps during the day.
